Police can lie to you legally... if you lie to them it's a felony. Police are allowed to lie to you, make up that other evidence exists, and still question you to try to get you to incriminate yourself.

Once an adult is convicted of a felony, that person is always and forever a “felon” for the rest of his or her life. In Texas, there is no way to reduce the impact of the permanent label “felon”.
